So much to go over this week!

First there's Local Comic Shop Day, taking place this Saturday from 11 AM - 8 PM! You can see the full list of the extremely limited exclusive items available at the link above, and all holds are barred, so we hope to see you out early!

Saturday is also Justice League Day! We'll be giving away the exclusive Ivan Reis variant cover to Justice League Rebirth #1 for FREE, plus pick out an addition Rebirth first issue featuring a JL member for every $10 you spend in store!

Before, during and after LCSD, I'll be set up at Super Famicon 2017, spotlighting Nintendo and other facets of the video game world via artists, tournaments and dealers! We'll be hosting our Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild Trial of the Sword speed run contest, selling manga and toys, and offering 4 New Pops for $30! Dealer room hours are 10 AM - 7 PM Saturday and 10 AM - 6 PM Sunday and tickets can be purchased right here at the shop!

Also this weekend, Winston will be repping a joint store venture at the Greensboro Toy, Hobby & Sportscard Show at the Greensboro Coliseum. Bret is currently raiding his basement, so there's no telling he'll find to make ready, but admission is just $6 a day or $7 for the whole event, and kids 15 and under are FREE!

Then Tuesday night will be the Doomsday Clock #1 3 Minutes 'til Midnight Release Party, running from 9 PM - 12 AM! We'll be screening the not-as-bad-as-anyone-remembers Watchmen movie and offering the opportunity to buy either the DC Universe Rebirth hardcover, Batman/ Flash The Button hardcover, or Watchmen trade paperback and get any other graphic novel for 50% OFF (not just another of equal or lesser value, ANY other). Then as the witching hour nears, we'll have the standard, Gary Frank, lenticular, and midnight exclusive variant covers up for sale in addition to the rest of next week's new releases! Snap up a FREE button and lithograph while they last!

Next Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, will be the very first day we'll be CLOSED! After being available to the public for 231 days straight, we're going to be eating it up and napping the day away with our families. As much as part of me wants to keep the streak alive, I'm pretty sure Carly would kill me. But...

We'll be right back at it with a vengeance on Black Friday morning! While I don't want to tip our hand too soon, I will say that we'll be offering the most absurd sales of our brief history, covering Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday and everything in between, starting with early doorbuster sales at 8 AM! After all of that, we'll return you to your regularly scheduled shopping for two weeks until Donny Cates on December 9th, but there's still plenty of time for all of that!
