We’re prepping for our Comics For Kids Sale this Sunday from 1-7 PM at Geeksboro Battle Pub, located at 2618 Lawndale Drive! This will be about 6,500 $1 Books, plus our enhanced stock of $5 graphic novels (or 5 for $20), new $5 Pops (or 5 for $20), and comic sets, and the best part is that 100% of all of the proceeds from the event will go to purchase brand-new, all-ages books for kids throughout Guilford, Davidson, and Forsyth County!
Added a new member to the family this week, an Ampeg BA-112. I’d only ever been playing through a Squire BP-15 that came with my Affinity starter pack back in 2001, and it just wasn’t cutting it anymore with a Fender signature P-Bass. My friend Ryan got one of these when we were in high school and back then I thought it was a beast! while it won’t blow the doors off of anything, it’ll be fine for playing alone at home and get me closer to that Mark Hoppus tone.
