I dinged my bass pretty good during a strap malfunction last Friday, so I put the skills to work recreating the Hi My Name Is Mark logo in Illustrator, cut it in vinyl on the Cricut, and applied it with my gunpla tools! It looks great and sounds exactly the same, but now it’s got me itching to go to Asheville to buy this 2002 Daphne Blue original configuration (oops, it sold, temptation removed) of the Hoppus bass so I still have one that’s near mint. Colton has officially moved down to Concord and the store is coming along! The contractor still has to paint and polish the concrete floor (very glad we don’t need to go through all of that again [I’m too old for that kind of back-breaking now]), but we are continuing to build up stock in the meantime!
