Ssalefish GSO First Look #226 for 9.1.21
Things have been pretty standard for me since FCBD, just counting down the days until Disney (11!). I’ve been outfitting the fam in preparation, using my Cricuit to make iron-ons for the first time (my nephew Nash’s adorable Yub-Nub shirt is for one of the beers served at Oga’s Catina at Galaxy’s Edge 😂 I thought it was going to be for my brother, David).
I went a little crazy on Reb Bubble buying up I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson stickers. Karl Havoc is my spirit animal, and spotting that that Martian landscape is from Dr. Manhattan in Watchman made it a must-have.
The Yankees have won 12 straight, but the Rays haven’t given an inch in the race for the AL East, and now they’re on a west coast trip and I go to bed waaaaay to early too stay up for any of that, even if they are about to buy the A’s gone.
I finally beat Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword with the HD re-release for Switch. I never beat it originally because I hated the Wii controls that you had to use originally and I was bitter that I didn’t get the limited edition WiiMote+ that came with it, much less the Shop Nintendo exclusive Nunchuck. Now the other game in the series I haven’t beaten is Twilight Princess, so I guess it’s time to dig up the WiiU and unwrap the HD copy I’ve been sitting on for five years.
I’m down a bit of an Expanse rabbit hole, watching the show on Amazon Prime and listening to the audiobooks.
