As excited as I am to be throwing our first Free Comic Book Day celebration next Saturday, I might be more jazzed to put on our first in-store signing next Wednesday evening, May 3rd with my good friend Gregg Schigiel as he launches the second volume of his all-ages graphic novel series from Image Comics, Pix: Too Super For School!

Our preview night and first official day of business are in the can and both went better than we could have imagined! It especially meant a ton to me that my brother David and sister-in-law Miranda came out from Nashville to see us on our way, and the chocolate covered strawberries that my Aunt Karen sent down from New Jersey were just the sugar rush we needed to get through a long new release day!
Now it's on to the day-to-day, which means cooking up special stuff to make you guys love comics even MORE!

For your convenience, our New Comic Book Day's will be the longest in the Triad, spanning from 8 AM to 8 PM, so before work, during lunch, after work, or even after dinner, we've got you covered and you won't have to wait a minute longer to find out what happens next in all of your favorite series!
