It’s time this Saturday, October 26th for Halloween ComicFest, which I remind everyone is exactly like Free Comic Book Day, but with even better weather (if the rain holds out)! Keep in mind that we open and close an hour earlier than normal, so 10 AM - 7 PM, then we’ll be back to business as usual on Sunday!

Our guest of honor this year will be COPRA creator Michel Fiffe, who we’re flying in from NYC, our first out-of-state guest since Donny Cates back in 2018! Throughout stints on G.I. Joe (Sierra Muerte for IDW), Bloodstrike (Brutalists for Image), and All-New Ultimates (for Marvel), Fiffe’s been a tour-de-force, self-publishing one of the most compelling superhero books on the stands, and now he’s moving his efforts to Image to reach an even wider audience!
He’ll be joined by the always delightful Beck Seashols, Chris Giarrusso, Ally Haney, Michole Miller and newcomer & live artist James Beddard! Free Comic Book Day additions Munchie & Me Face Painting will be happy to give you a FREE creepy makeover from 10 AM - 2 PM and Penny’s Pawsitive Pins will be here peddling her wares!
Come in costume and get your picture taken to enter our annual Cosplay Contest! We’ll post the pictures on our Facebook page on Sunday, October 27th, and you’ll have until closing on Thursday, October 31st to marshal your supporters and get the most Likes! The winners in the kid and adult categories will take home two weekend passes to NC Comicon - Bull City in Durham, taking place Friday, November 8th - Sunday, November 10th!
