An update on the state of the store & new releases:

Thanks to so many of you for helping out in any way that you could over the last four weeks! With your support and our renewed focus on eBay and Amazon, we’ve been able to generate a normal month’s worth of revenue to help bridge the gap between the shutdown and incoming small business assistance. It means the world that you’re thinking of us, and we hope you’ve enjoyed the deals you’ve gotten from stock that we hadn’t otherwise gotten a chance to put out in the store.

I wanted to give you a heads up that thanks to DC’s alternative distribution channels, starting next TUESDAY, APRIL 28TH, we’ll have some new releases coming through again. All of your previous orders we intended to source through Diamond Comic Distributors will be fully filled through our orders with the new distributor, including incentive variants, graphic novels, and reprints. The Shipping Next Week section of the website has already been updated, and will continue to be refreshed with the following week’s new releases on Friday mornings around 11 AM, just like the good ol’ days, and you can use the form there, email, direct message on Instagram, or private message on Facebook to add anything you haven’t already asked about.

Diamond has only said that they’re aiming for a mid-to-late-May return to shipping, but at this point given the information we have, I wouldn’t expect anything new from the other premiere publishers (Marvel, Image, Dark Horse, IDW, Dynamite & Boom) until at least Wednesday, May 27th. However, as we’ve all seen, things in the current climate can change in a second, and comics are no exception. We’ll keep you informed as soon as we hear anything else.

If your financial circumstances have changed and you need to cancel any orders or subscriptions, please let us know as soon as possible. Many publishers have given us a grace period to return unsold product, so we won’t be hurt by anything you drop in the short term, but moving forward we need to know if you’ll be unable to continue any pre-orders with us.

If you haven’t already heard, the governor extended his stay-at-home order through Friday, May 8th, so we can’t have folks coming to the store before then, but we can ship any orders under $25 for just $3.99 (and we’ll include a FREE Ssalefish exclusive variant worth at least that much to offset the cost) and anything over $25 we’ll ship for FREE. If your holds DO get over $25, we may get in touch to try and arrange shipment if we haven’t already heard from you.
