Working on something neat tonight with my pal Smitty! Not the final product by any means, but hopefully it'll be ready to unveil sometime in July!

It's been a wild few days loading in our more than 400 square feet of merchandise to the Charlotte Convention Center, running around for 11 hours during the first day of the show, sleeping in a room with four other folks, and driving home first thing this morning to work all day at the shop today, then back down after 8 PM, but it's all worth it to get you guys the book you want all the way across the Piedmont!

Even though the batarangs from yesterday's Instagram shenanigans have sold via Facebook, I still can't get over how much fun it was tossing those things around the back (and how shocked I am there was no ricochet that sent one straight through my sandaled feet.

This weekend is obviously a celebration of the Princess of Power's 75 year journey to the big screen in her first solo movie, and we'll be getting in on the action giving away FREE copies of Wonder Woman Rebirth #1 at the AMC Classic 18 Cinemas (formerly Carmike 18) on Koger Blvd. tonight starting at 6 PM!

Then we'll blow it out on Saturday from 11 AM - 8 PM with FREE copies of Wonder Woman #1 (Rebirth) and DC Super Hero Girls Summer Olympus while supplies, plus FREE bracelets & tiaras for the first 25 people through the door!

We'll be celebrating one of our favorite books coming out for the first time since we've opened by GIVING AWAY THE NEW ISSUE, a jumping on point for new readers, FOR FREE! I can't believe I get to say that this summer we're going to be part of the Vans Warped Tour when it comes through Charlotte on July 6th! It's not happening in the way that 15 year old me could have ever imagined, but I can't wait to sweat it out and the spread the love of Valiant Comics with discount trades and exclusive variant covers while listening to the Ataris!

Thanks to everyone that came out and made our grand opening/ first Free Comic Book Day last weekend a HUGE success! It gave us some great ideas on how to make things even better next year and really made us feel like a part of Comic Book City!

We're just two days away from Free Comic Book Day! And Guardians of the Galaxy comes out tonight, and we'll be at not one, but TWO area theaters with giveaways and a chance to win a San Diego Comic Con International exclusive Rocket Raccoon bust!
